Taryn Finley

Taryn Finley is a New York-based multimedia journalist who specializes in race and culture. She currently serves as the Editor of HuffPost Black Voices where she manages, edits and produces content to inform, empower and amplifies black audiences and highlights why our stories matter. Her work can also be found in The New York Times, Essence and The Root.

Taryn is a Dayton, Ohio native and a proud alum of Howard University and Columbia School of Journalism. Her interests include traveling, working out, discovering new podcasts and discussing the majesty of Beyoncé.
